After weighing up the pros and cons of paper zines vs webzines, I concluded that turning Aquamarine into an online zine was the best option. With a webzine I can put the stuff I've written on the internet as soon as it's done rather than hanging around several months waiting for a paper fanzine to get finished. Also, this site got over a hundred visitors in the space of a few weeks, but it would take a whole lot longer to shift this amount of paper zines. If I'm getting the info out there quicker and to more people, this can't be a bad thing. |
